I'm not really sure how to describe this or who might want to read it, but I started on a journey yesterday to lose 100 lbs. in 365 days and to blog my progress. My starting point amounts to this: I weighed 333.9 lbs. yesterday, April 27, 2011. I'm prepared for disaster since I can't even figure out when the 365th day is. I have to tell you, that counter thing is unnerving. It feels like one of those sands-through-the-hour-glass things. Not good.

Today is the day!
Okay, I met my Personal Trainer Person this afternoon, and I can barely hold my hands up over the keyboard. Had my weigh-in. Wasn't as bad as I expected, but it wasn't less than 100 lbs., so there goes my first diet book idea down the drain--How to Lose 5 lbs. in Two Days without Lifting a Finger. I was looking forward to meeting Oprah. Only 364 days to go! I'm going to need help pulling my shirt over my head. Forget it, this shirt will work for tomorrow.
